🛠️ How to build these by hand
Use odd diameters
An odd width (5, 7, 9…) gives a single, symmetrical center block. Even diameters leave a flat 2-wide edge that can look lopsided.
Build one quarter, then mirror
Every circle and sphere is 4-way symmetric. Lay out one quadrant carefully, then copy it to the other three — a quarter of the counting, none of the mistakes.
Count from the axis
Hover any cell in the grid to read its offset from center and how many blocks are in that row/column. Place from the center line outward and the shape stays true.
Spheres = stacked circles
A sphere is just circles of changing size stacked up. Build the bottom ring, then each layer above it — the widest ring sits at the equator, not the base.
Outline first, fill later
For big domes and spheres, place the outline shell first so the silhouette is right, then flood-fill inside only if you actually need it solid.
Scaffold the overhang
Sphere and dome tops curve back inward. Pillar up with a cheap block (dirt/scaffolding) to reach floating layers, then mine it away on the way down.
